Article Display Problems

I am still having issues with the articles not displaying. There are two "categories" (FAQ and Portal). The FAQ category has three articles that are not displaying anywhere, and the PORTAL category has one articles that is set to display on the front page and I get an error message (shown below) for that article. here are the interface shots.
I have just reconfigured the "welcome" article in the Portal category as "Featured". Now it displays properly on the front page. But i cannot get the FAQ articles to display anywhere.  Thank you

Please ask unrelated questions in a different topic. This will help keep topics on track, as well as help people when searching for a problem. If you're topic goes off on different subjects its likely to confuse all trying to help or search.

What are your frontpage settings? Aslo, remember to post your information from the posting guidelines so we know what to test to figure it out. However, you should know that there are many bugs in the articles in TP1 beta2. Another beta is in the works with many fixes.

you said the FAQ articles aren't displaying anywhere... have you tried going directly to those articles to make sure they work?
(click the little magnifiying glass icon to the right of the article date.)

If the articles work when you go directly to them, then you just need to decide if you want them all on the front page or setup a menu for visitors to get to the articles.

But if they still don't work I'm sure someone else here can help with that.

When I checked the articles directly, there was one that was bad(?) so i deleted that, and now i can display this with either a menu item or on the front page. I thought the "tiny portal" system allowed for more flexibility for the articles than only Front Page or Menu item.

The current home page shows a "welcome" article as well a  category  with two articles "FAQ" which is also linked from the menu on the right "special interest.

If there are more options for displaying an article category - how is that done?

I just looked at your site.  It appears to be setup exactly like you wanted it to be setup according to the image in your first post.  So, do we consider this topic solved or not?

If not, then exactly what do you mean when you say you "thought the "tiny portal" system allowed for more flexibility for the articles than only Front Page or Menu item"?  You still didn't Read and Reply to the Posting Guidelines, as Ichbin asked you to and I cannot tell exactly what it is you are trying to do.
