Hey guys,

so I just got TP to work with SMF, and I was wondering, how can I modify it, such as I want the shoutbox to be on the left, get rid of some of the things search, user, etc...

any help appreciated.

and also, under admin panel, there's a spot that says :tiny portal" but there's empy space, nothing to click, is that normal?

thanks again.

evolution,

You didn't read and reply to the Posting Guidelines, so we have no idea what version of TP you installed or how to go about helping you.  If you give us the information it asks for it will help us to help you.

You can find a lot of information in the Documentaion area by hovering your mouse over that tab at the top of this page and selecting the version you installed.  Another good source of information is the Docs Board.

The specific answer to your question about the TinyPortal area in Admin being empty can possibly be solved by looking at this ---> Blank Admin Panel or Text missing?

ZarPrime,

sorry about not reading the guidelines. I really should've because my answers were found in there ;). Thanks tho.

I fixed the blank thingy, and I found out how to move the blocks around, however, I have a few more questions that I can't seem to find an answer for.

First of all, i use TP 0.9.8

I'd like to have the frontpage divided into areas, like 4 cubes or more where I have different articles listed, is that somehow possible if I place an article block in the center or so?

Hi there again,  ;D

Yes it can. You make the same mistakes as i, i moved the blocks and panels to the frontpage blocks but that is wrong.  :2funny:

Set all the blocks back to right blocks, left blocks etc and goto edit. So goto Admin, tiny portal, panel and blocks. Then select one block or article and press edit. Then under in the screen you can choose where the panel and block shows. So when you choose only the frontpanel it will show only on the front panel.  8)

Succes,  ;)

hey conner, let me come back to that in a second.
-------

I'm getting an error when I create an article:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /www/htdocs/w00adcb6/Sources/Load.php(1735) : eval()'d code(209) : eval()'d code on line 1

need help please ;)

What sort of article ?  whats the code you are using in the article ?

I have been reading your posts this morning for support, and i have to ask you if you actually do any search on anything you want to know, or if you just want everything served to you directly ?
Every question so far is quite easy to answer as the questions have been asked so many times we cant even count them.
Also they are noticed and they have guides in our docsection.

I would like you to atleat try use the search function and read the docs or just play with your tinyportal settings and see what happends for the diffrent settings.  ;)
