Hi!

After the .86 upgrade I have noticed that the empty space under the text body in articles has grown since .75 - so the space between the text and the lower part of the frame of the article is larger... Could this please be fixed, since it's just brings a lot of total empty space on a website...

Cache-man

If I undersatnd you right, I have a similar problem with my articles.
Have a look at my test site http://www.cache-community.co.uk/tp You see the Enermax article intro at the top...I seem to have space I cant get rid of above and below the article content. I made the table border viewable (border=1) just to check out where the space was, and i cant figure out how to erradicate the space.

Does anyone know of a fix for this.

misjka

Yup, it seems that you also have a little bit too much space below the text in every article on that front page...?

This might be the cause of the editor - again.have you checked the articles without the editor on? To see if spaces are in the html as well?

misjka

I reckon the space shows up even if I turn that wysiwyg editor off... You might have a look here on the article named Test, which I wrote with the editor off...

Cache-man

I cant see the space in your test article!

misjka

Well, is 5-6 lines of space motivated below 1 line of text...?

misjka

BTW, is "Write comment" link due to SMF1.1 or what...?

This looks like it may be an IE issue as I have the same problem with my site.  However when I view your test page with Firebox or Opera,  it is formated without the extra spaces.  Just another reason to hate IE.

misjka

Yes, it seems you are correct about this... :o
