Has there been any progress here?  My members have been searching for a way to allow each member to  create a page of for sale items. ...  maybe in the end, I'll just instruct them to create a topic about their work and a paypal link...

How about the SMF store mod by SMFHacks.com?

We just started using it and it's working great so far.

It looks interesting.  Does it allow individual users to have their own shops, or just one for the site?

One store for the site at this time, but each item can have it's own paypal address for payment.

That's cool.  It looks useful.. can multiple users add items?
