codes and uploading

I had somebody help me set SM up ...i want to add blocks on the sides of my front page...i just dont get it.....where are the codes and instructions on adding these?

Sorry..i have very lil puter knowledge html yes but installations and stuff...nada.I want to #1 have my portal as my front page....not my frum like it is now.Then i want to add blocks on the both sides of my portal.i just don't know how.I have looked here,but just dont get it.

Have you installed TinyPortal in SMF?

Check to make sure you have the correct version of the Helios Multi theme, there are two versions on the download page... you need the one with '_tp' in the name.

If you have the correct version check to see that support for TP is turned on in your 'current theme' admin panel.

thank you for yuor help .....i have downloaded the new theme..., however i have screwed things up worse trying to make a block
