I seem to have a couple of my blocks that want to play peek-a-boo. Now you see them, now you don't!
The blocks in question are set to show in a board and also in an article. It seems if you go directly to the article, or from its category, the blocks don't show, but if you come from the board where they do show, then they will show in the article.
The block is an article category block.
See: http://www.curlyhorses.org/index.php?page=ponymini , at the bottom of the page is a link to the discussion board where the block is also set to show.
These areas are open to guests, but I have a similar problem in a restricted board as well.
It does the same thing if I am a guest or admin.

Is there a reason its being arbitrary? Is there a way to fix it?

Hi T-Cat,

If the block you're talking about is "Pony Articles" in the right panel, I can see what you are talking about.

The problem you have is that you have set a query title for that article of "ponymini".  That article is actually page44, which is how you call it from that board.

This is a known bug in TP 0.98 and has been corrected for TP 1.0.6 beta 2

and you can read about it here ---> http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?action=bugtracker;sa=bug326

If you access the article with /index.php?page=44 instead of /index.php?page=ponymini you will see the block.

T-Cat

thank you ZarPrime for the explanation and link :)
