Just noticed that the commenting option in article is not an option. I did set it for guest to comment to but is not available.
This is what it says when I am logged out:

Commenting option has been turned off for this article.

When you post here in the bugtracker, you MUSt add as much info as you possibly can.
What setup do you have, what theme do you have. What settings have you tried so far. ? etc etc

Please read the Posting Guidelines.html

Yes, but inside each article has the settings to turn on/off comments. What are your settings for the articles that you are wanting to allow comments on?

arrisje

Viewing options:

Display comments underneath article
Allow to comment?
Do not collapse comments initially
Display number of views

Ichbin,

I just confirmed on my site that it does indeed appear that guests can't post comments in articles, even when comments are turned on, but my several test accounts are able to.

This is by design. Comments can only be done by members, though the category/article can be viwed by guests.
