I get these 3 errors.
I am using SMF 1.1.7  TP1.0.6 beta2

This error only happens to guest when viewing the TP frontpage.  If a user is logged in the error does not occur.

Their are no other errors when guest are viewing other parts of the site  it is only on the frontpage

Are you sure there isn't some block code or article code your using that could be causing this?

bigb

Ok I have been able to reproduce the error.
Yes it is related to articles and article categories.

If you create an article and set  it to be shown on the front page and featured   the category it is assigned to must allow Guest Access.

If no guest access is assigned in the  category the featured article will still shown on the front page even if you are a guest but  an 8: Undefined index: XX  error will occur.  The XX is the Category number that does not have guest access turned on.

Also when a category is deleted the articles under that category should be reassigned to * not assigned * but they are not. They are lost  unless you re assign them to a new category  before the old category deleted.   You can find the old un assigned articles if you know the author and re assign a new category.

Update Note: This error only occures when the Frontpage settings - What to display on frontpage:
are set to  - Featured article with frontpanel
Hope this helps

- featured article showed even when it should not, due to an faulty double-check. Fixed for TP v1.0 beta3
