Why is that when folks use my shoutbox (inside portal block), that after making a shout, the entire panel of blocks just disappear? You have to refresh the browser or click on the forum url to bring the entire panel of blocks back.

Is this a setting somewhere? I'm running SMF 1.1.7 and TP 1.0.5.

I never had this problem until I upgraded both SMF and TP.

Doesn't happen here, or on any other site that I've seen. I think G6 read your'e question wrong. :2funny:

Does this happen on any browser? Or only a specific browser? Does it happen on the default theme or any other themes? Do you have any mods installed besides TP?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it happens on both IE and Firefox. It acts as if it's trying to redirect. I'm not using the TP frontpage; only blocks at my forum index page. I have it configured to remain at my forum index page only, so I'm not sure why it acts as if it wants to go somewhere else? Didn't have this problem with TP 0.9

Link to your site? We need to see this  so we can try to see what is wrong.

Sure thing. If you make a shout, the entire left panel of blocks disappears. It comes back if you click on the "home" button again.

As it sits right now, you have to be a member to use the shoutbox even though I've configured it to allow guests to shout. Not sure why this still is? You may have to register just to test it out.

None of these problems existed until I upgraded from 0.9.8 to 1.0.5. I also upgraded SMF 1.1.4 to 1.1.7 at the same time.

I receive the following error message in my forum error log each time I use Shoutbox:

8: Undefined index: TPAdvShout_opt_4
File: /home/monster/public_html/forum/tp-files/tp-modules/TPAdvShout/Sources/TPAdvShout.php

The shoutbox you have are no longer supported in TP, it should have been removed compleatly as it's full of bugs and Storm that develop that version havent done anything more with it, and also hes not online for a long time ahead.  :-\
I suggest you remove it and install the other shoutbox module included, you will still have the options with smileys and bbc inside it.
