I have my TP set so any news I post in my News & Announcements section, it will show it on the front page.
My post has a few words of text with two video player videos which use html to post.
Instead of showing the videos on the front page, it shows "" and thats it...

Front page post: http://www.customcod.com/community/index.php
Post: http://www.customcod.com/community/index.php?topic=121.0

How do I fix this?

G6Cad

Are these placed in frontpageblocks or articles ?

wildcard

What method are you using to show the in-post videos?  Custom BBC code or scripts?

here is the post that is up there now with the videos:

Did you download the plugin for firefox ?
In the forum, the mod have that function for you, but when you show it on the frontpage TP does not render the mods code.
If you download the plugin it askes you to when trying to view it on the frontpage, it should work as the plugin in the browser will do what the mod for the forum does.

cod4guy

...

I don't know why its asking for the plugin, and I could care less.

My question is, you is TP not allowing html tags to work on the front page...?

G6Cad

I gave you the reply, the mod you have inside the forum to show movies render the code, and when you try to go through TP with it, it will not work.

And the reply " dont care less" when i asked it you downloaded the plug in the screensshots show you been asked to were very polite.
IF you DID care, the plugin might just show the movie right there even through TP

But as you dont care less for the help and questions to help you, then im also done wasting my time in this topic as others that do care mant help and are happy to get it to..

As the dragons say, "for that reason, im out"  ;)

cod4guy

Ok. Ill try again.

I'm sorry if I got a little mad at you up there, but yall just ain't understanding me.

Videos of youtube or so on, have embeded html scripts. Now what I do to get those scripts to work, is I put the html BB tags around the scripts and they work. For some reason, TP is not letting the html BB tags work.

How do I make them work?
