Blocking spammers

How do I block spam bots from making unregistered posts?  I recently been having a big problem with this.  I have received keys for Captcha but I don't know how to install that.  Is there a tool via TP that I can install instead?

No, there's nothing at all in TP that would have any effect on registration. Your best bet is to look at the SMF site.

Just a personal thing -- I added the Anti-Bot Registration Puzzles mod (do a search at the SMF site) and I haven't had a bot register since then. But don't tell anyone that I told you that here, because we're really not supposed to give support on anything but TP here. :-)
