Empty Articles and Articles Categories

Yep, very minor bug for me.  Right now I don't really need to display any articles, so I just turned off access to them for everybody.  I'm the only one who sees the bug right now, since I'm the only admin.

Keep up the great work, guys, and please let us know when a fix is found.

Well,. to me this is a major bug since the site I was building up depends on quite an extensive article and category structure  ...

Well, it's more or less a bug, big or small it's a bug.
Bloc is working on it on every available minute he have to find it.
Your articles are not gone, they are still in the database, just not showing up in the list.
Patient and it will be back as soon as Bloc have found out why it doesent at this point.

Yep, I'm patient (well aware of the beta state). And I agree with you about the minor/major point of view . There may be subjective points of  view of it, but for Bloc it sure would be from a technically point of view quite a critical bug since the "CMS" part of the portal is at stake. So, the discussion of subjective minor/major will lead nowhere from here...

Exactly.
Therefor we lock this topic down as it shows a bug, it's been reported in the tracker, and Bloc is working on a fix as soon as he have the time.
As usuall he always post when he know how to fix it or when he added it to the next update package..

Ok a little info for some of you. I'd like to unlock this topic so we can discuss further since I had a little break through on the cause after looking at Rus's site. I noticed that on every article or category view the frontpage blocks were showing. So I changed what was displayed on the frontpage temporarily to test. It seemed that the articles and cats were working after changing the frontpage setting to display articles only. Are any of you using frontpage blocks?

I confirmed it on my test site as well. I'm putting in a bug in the bug tracker.

Yes. It only works as you stated. Articles only, with all the blocks set to display in the article category.

Are any of you using frontpage blocks?

Nope, not me. In my case I suspect it goes deeper down, because when trying to edit article or category blocks all the articles and categories are gone...

Would help if you told me what you were using for your frontpage settings then.
