insert image tp8.6

I was just trying to insert and image into an article. Click on the little tree[image] and up pops the wizard. click browse and it takes me to some files,click images and it shows the two I have in the folder.

It says to hover to view and click to select. click does not select. it does nothing for me anyway. Normally i would expect it to bring me back to the image wizard with the path filled in,but it doesn't.

I had to enter the path manually and it is there now. What am i doing wrong.It seems straight forward.

Well I am still having problems. It seemed to me that maybe the pictures need to be in the tp dnloads folder for the editor to work. So I put them there. Low and behold I do not have permission to access these. Where ever I choose to chmod the files in tp downloads to 777 it does not work. It always reverts back to read only or whatever.

Regular images folder I can view, but editor does not work[select and insert]

I am logged in as administrator so why can't I do what I want.

I saw there was a file size limitation somewhere,but cannot find it now.

I get this when I hover over pic link in tpadmin

You don't have permission to access /tp-downloads/Jaffee.jpg on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

The file size is 6015 the other one is bigger. Is that the problem?

Sounds like your host have limits in your www folder. My old host hade the same and i was forced to move to another.
Turned out for the better anyway, now my package manager work All the errors i got with the last host are gone to all of a sudden, so i think the limits do have a lot of negative effects for us users

I dont know where you from, but if you contact B-ONE.NET they will help you move your domain over to them,
(thats my new host)
i have another .se domain there and have had NO errors, no downtime and no troubble what so ever with them under this year i have my other page there.

Cheep to, lot of space, the sql within your space = NO connection problem to the DB and you can have as much space you like. Permissin set by you and not them.

They are global, but have the main office in denmark.

Just tried to do the same thing on the free site and the same exact thing happens. completely different animals??

what exactly does this mean and what server are they talking about.
Is this just a permissions issue. I am getting another headache

It just seems odd that both completely different servers do the same thing.

Most of the time these errors are the server configuration. Weither it be with there PHP install or the permissions they have setup. This is the hosting server that we are referring to SuperQ.
