i'm trying to figuire out a way to post news on the front page of my forum. So far the only way to do it is by making a block and setting it to one article.
Since having an article category only lists them and doesn't show the actual posts (like I want it to). Is there a way to do this?

SMF version: 1.1.6

I mean have them all displayed without them being individually put in a block. Like a news system

Then change the option to not show the title/frame.

Like when I post a new article, it shows up on the front page on top of the last article, without having individual blocks set up all the time to do that. Is there a way to do this?

Like this: http://shadowsbastion.com/specialprojects/smftp/index.php
With all the articles/whatever on the front page all lined up. Do I have to do it block by block with a single article?

IchBin

Thats what articles and posts do. You can do it with multiple articles. You can do it with articles and posts. You can do it with just posts. You choose. Its all in the frontpage options.
