Hi!

I have a little problem... Then i want install TP version 0.9.8 on my SMF board version 1.1.6 so is it a problem. I get this message:

An Error Has Occurred!
The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

How can i fix this problem? i have tested to download again from TP.net but i get that message again. But TP version 1.0.5 beta 1 works.

Did you download the TP zip file at the top of this board in the sticky and try it?

I decided to post this here as the title fits my issue.

I am trying to install TP 0.9.8 on my newly upgraded smf 1.1.6 and I ran into this error:
Quote
10.     Execute Modification     ./Themes/default/index.template.php     Test failed

I made a backup of index.template.php and then installed anyway and when I did I could not get the panels that are suppose to display on the left and right to actually display.

I finally uninstalled TP 0.9.8 and restored index.template.php.

I would like to add that I just followed the instructions fo manually editing the index.template.php file as foud here (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/topic,14195.html) and with no results.

I uninstalled all of my mods, uploaded a new index.template.php file from the 1.1.6 upgrade and the reinstalled TP and there were no errors. The problem is still that the blocks do not display.

Snow Wolf, Please read the Posting Guidelines next time. This means not posting in someone else's topic when looking for help. You've now posted 4 times without anyone responding and the topic starter has no use for your responses in his/her topic.

I didn't believe starting a new topic would be relevant, since Mintendo's question was not answered, and our issues are the same. My apologies if I should have.

This is the exact issue I am having, but I am on 1.1.7, but it was also an issue on 1.1.6
I have tried to use the TP Zip file you say in the quote above, but it is still not working.

The beta version did work, but because of additional mods I wish to use, I need 0.9.8

Thank you.

Sigh... I post the guidelines 50 times a week. Even in the post above yours, and you still didn't read them. Please read them. Start by following the rule of opening your own topic and filling out the info needed.

Very well, then, I will, but as I said, it seemed redundant to open another topic with exactly the same issue, as the one posted above which is STILL unanswered.

For the record, I DID read it. Did you read MY post?!
