[Download Manager] Trying to add a large file

Im trying to add a big size file (4.5GB) to the Download Manager (FTP tab, assign file..), but it doesnt show the real size of the file.. just 0kb!!

Is it because the size of the file? The rest of my downloads are working alright, I never had any problem with this.. the bigger file i had was 600MB.

Im using TPv0.9.8 and SMF 1.1.5. Haven't seen any similar problem on the search results...

So I don't quite get what you're saying.  Did you add any files bigger? Was your 600MB file uploaded without problems? What is your host php upload limit?

Excuse if I didn't explain it very well.

I uploaded a file of 4.5GB (the biggest i've tried at the moment) via FTP to the tp-downloads folder, and I've tried to assign it as a download (Download Manager Admin -> FTP Tab -> Assign this..blabla) but it seems to show an incorrect file size (0kb) and Im wondering if it could be a TP limitation or some kind of bug. The download is assigned but you can´t download the file, you just get a 0kb dummy file.

The bigger file i've got has 600MB and its working ok (and the size information is alright).

You are correct.

Have you verified that the file actually exists on your server? Not by it being reported through TinyPortal, but actually seeing the file through your FTP program?

I know you can't access the file directly while it's in the tp-download folder, but if you temporarily remove the .htaccess file and try to access that file via your browser directly do you still get a 0ok file or does it access and download correctly?

It might be a host issue, have you contacted them.  It's quite a large file.  I don't see the download manager caring what size it is, though if it does you might be able to add the correct file size directly to the db entry for that download.

It was a host problem, no files bigger than 1.5GB. Your idea finally get me on the real problem, Rumbaar.
