"SOLVED" admin can't see left block

Thanks in advance for any help with this. I've just completed a fresh install of smf and tp. I'm not sure how I'm getting this error already. I've set the proper permissions for the blocks, but for some reason ADMIN can't view the left block after creating it. I've set it to be viewed on the front page, other members that are set to view it are able to, but admin can't.

Admins by default see ALL blocks. You sure you don't have the panel shrunk or something?

What? Now its working. But, I think it had something to do with "articles" on the front page. I don't think I checked the block to show left blocks while also displaying an article. Do you think this is possible. I'd try to see if this was the problem, but I'll check it later. Thanks.

Now for the long answer.
As you know by now there are lots of settings and controls for blocks and articles. It's also true that they interact a lot so you'll need to work with your setups to see how one setting may effect another and what your desired result may need for those settings.
It's not hard to learn... just takes a little time.
