Shoutbox problem on IE7

I have noticed my shoutbox doesnt work on IE7. I have a clean installation of SMF + TP and only 3 mods that i allways used and they never gave me any problem

Well it seems the shoutbox goes crazy on IE7, the messages apperas all over my entire right bar and not only on the block.

It is a bug?

Well, considering that no body else is having this issue, that would mean to me that there is something on your site that is causing it. So, you need to do some testing. Test the shoutbox in different ways. Such as, try disabling all your other blocks EXCEPT the shoutbox. See if the shoutbox works. IF that doesn't work, try only showing the shoutbox on some where specific like the profile page. You need to try and narrow down what the cause is. There is some code on your site which is probably causing this. Could be a custom block code, or something from an article that is causing it.

Ok here it is the deal. Another site wich uses the same style.css as mine is having the same problem so i have to think that is the problem.

Is any part of the style.css that referes to the shoutbox? maybe i am losing the codes there.

Edit: I dont have the problem with IE7, i realize the problem only persist on IE8 beta, even in chrome is ok.

CAn any1 try to see ur shoutbox on IE8 beta and see if it works?

I think is an IE problem for real, nothing to do with SMF or TP but the god damn software

Sorry, but we cannot support beta software. The code is written in its current state to work only with the lastest stable version of each browser.

Ok it is a bug of the software (IE8 beta). I lokked a lot of sites with the shoutbox and it is a bug. Nothing to do with SMF or TP.

Just in case u want to add a note, it is a bug with IE8 beta.
