I am able to see the blocks I have created on the frontpage but I am unable to see them when I navigate down to the forums. I am new to using SMF and tinyportal so I am wondering if anyone can help me. Is there some setting in the admin tools that allows me to show these when in the forums. I have gone to the block setting and have it set to show everywhere but it doesnt seem to be working.

here is a link to the site so you can see what is going on

Any help would be appreciated .

I am using SMF version 1.1.5
and TP version 1.052

Ken.

Hi Drat, Welcome to TinyPortal.

You also need to check your panel settings to make sure that it's set to show in the forums:
Admin>TinyPortal>Panels and Blocks>Left (or right)>Panel> Hide left panel when in forum?   (Yes)  (No)

Thank you SO much. That did the trick. I can't believe I missed that. I did a search on these forums of course and I thought I had gone through every option in the admin panel but I guess I missed that one.

Ken.

Glad you got it fixed.

It takes a while to learn all the controls and how they interact with each other, a good way is just spending time in the admin panel trying stuff... but an even better way is to have a test site and then you can pound on it all you like without the fear of trashing your live site.
Easy to do, well worth the effort.

Marking this one as solved.
