Ken.

Tried it for a day or two and it was OK, but I like FF to much to change. :)

... still have it installed and use it sometimes for looking at a page in different browsers.

According to Wikipedia, the following platforms are supported:
Microsoft Windows (XP SP2 and Vista); Mac OS X and Linux in development.

It's blazingly fast. I'm not a fanboy of Firefox, It's certainly my choice of current browser, but I do feel it's becoming bloated. I think I like Chrome's streamlined approach. I feel I'm viewing a whole website, rather than a vast array of buttons (I know, you can hide the bars with F11). But, I have a love of my plugins and various tools, I notice Chrome has an inbuilt web developer tool.

Giving it more of a trial now and you are right Z, it is faster... going to run it for a full day to see how much different it is from FF. :)

Cool beans. There's quite a bit about it at their site, I like the fact they have made it completely open source. Tabs behave in isolation to each other, using separate processes for each page. My site looks as it should too, which is good since I have just dropped support for IE6 on my site.

Here's a video: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JGmO7Oximw8
An about why they built a browser here: http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en-GB/why.html?hl=en-GB
And some quirky cartoon strip, here: http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/index.html

Anyhooo.. Enough of me selling Google's free browser  :buck2:
