i've had the same issues on multiple computers. older p4 (xp) - this pc has a nvidia quadro video card, slow video is not due to video hardware, newer amd turion x64 (vista, xp, linux, leopard ;) quad boot), g3 imac 400mhz (tiger), g3 powermac 450 mhz (tiger), g4 imac 800 mhz (tiger), g4 powermac quicksilver 867 mhz (leopard).....

multiple systems, all same problem...

Haven't had any of the problems you guys mention. I've left FF3 running since yesterday and its only using 200MB of ram, even with several tabs open. It feels faster than FF2 to me.

Oh, and for those that don't like the ajax like address bar feature, there is an extension built to make it look like FF2's if you want it bad enough. Its called oldbar. :)

must be the iMAC, cuz no kidding B0ss it looked and acted vdery much like IE
I have become comfortably numb!

what kind of iMac you got thats having issues?

my G4 800 w/ 256mb RAM and Tiger is just a little slow, no major problems. (running like IE? omg)

Well I would have to say Crip, if you compare IE7 to FF3 they look nothing alike. I guess it depends on what version you use.

FF3 is far better than FF2. Awesomebar is like.. awesome after all!

And crip, if your themes aren't displaying how you like in FF3, then fix them! FF2 had CSS errors too, and many have been fixed in FF3.

Dragooon

I like FF3 more than FF2, it looks better and is faster.
I use opera 9.5 too sometimes.

Crip

If i could get my themes to look the way there suppose to i'd use FF3 -- I can't fix what i wanted to cuz it's from smf.org site..but the same code looks good on theres ?..like i said i must have missed part of the User-Box=Full-width code?
I have become comfortably numb!
