On my site i have certain users that have the ability to submit news arcticles. After becoming aware of the bug that gives an error when submitting news, i made a news board and all articles posted on that board show up on the front page. However im having an issue with the ordering of the articles and indexing of the pages.  (im using the TP beta)

Articles that are displayed from the news board are always on the top of the page, so if an admin adds an article through the TP system it will always display under all of the articles that are drawn from the forum posts. I set to order the articles by date but it is not working. Also i have about 3 pages of articles and ever since I'm displaying forum posts on the front page the page numeration has disappeared.

Im not very concerned about the pages but the order of articles is really a p.i.t.a.

Any suggestions?

You have the ability to sort the articles on dates if you have that option set for your frontpage

I did that but it seems that the articles that are displayed from the designated board are grouped together and display on the top of the page. Lets say i posted a html article using the TP system, then my news team posted an article on the forums and both of them are displayed on the front page. Now if i post a third, fourth and fifth articles they will always display under the article that is linked to the forum board.

This is what i get on the front page layout:
[Forum article #2]
[TP article #5]
[TP article #4]
[TP article #3]
[TP article #1]

This is what i want it to show:

[TP article #5]
[TP article #4]
[TP article #3]
[Forum article #2]
[TP article #1]
