Installing 0.983 v with smf 1.15 v.

I'm having problems installing this on one site.  The problem is i've installed it with no problems in 3 other sites?? 

Crazy stuff.  The error i'm getting is:

Upshrink table created
Settings table created2: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource
File: /home/content/a/v/e/aventurad/html/projectbible.org/Packages/temp/tp_install.php
Line: 169

When trying to install 1.0.5 beta version in 1.15 smf v i get this error:

Any Suggestions??

How you are installing it? Are you manually or using the package manager? Are these sites on the same server? Can you provide more details about any differences or anything?
