Download manager settings.

Now I'm aware this question has probably been asked and answered many times but it's a very basic question and there's nothing about it in the docs (that I can find anyway). If anyone is tired of answering this question may I humbly suggest adding the answer to the stickied FAQ here. 

Anyway the question is this: I currently have nine files in my Download Manager and despite playing with the settings I cannot get it to display more than eight (this being in the side panel block). How do I increase the number of displayed files?  Thanks.

You can sign in as Demo1 or Demo2 with the same passwords if you like.

Is it possible  to list more than eight files in the side block? If it isn't just say so and I'll give up trying.

TPortalBlocks.template.php I bet you can't figure it out!

You're right. Got absolutely no idea.
I'm thinking I'll have to change the  dl_recentitems  bit to  dl_lotsa_recentitems_so_there
