NOT allow members to see articles

Hi there,

Maybe I'm just blind but I cannot find a permission:

I do wand to hide articles from guests! They should NOT be able to see them. They should only be able to see a block made for them. This block does work, but they can see articles as well. It is possible using blocks, but I'd like to avoid them! So how do I HIDE articles from guests?

Should not help you though - as I had to use blocks now.

I am using Tp 0.98 and SMF 1.1.5. Do I have any mods installed? No mods that interfere with TP.

Ok, I am writing guild news as articles ok? So only people that are logged in should be able to see them. Guests should NOT be able to see them, as some visitors are not very friendly toward us. I did a search, but most people have issues the other way around.

Every category you have for your articles hold it's own permissions for the membergroups.

Check your article categories and choose to edit them, there you will see the permissions for them.

What Les wanted to know were if you actually read the posting guide as we ask to search the forum, this have been posted about so many time allready so it should not be to hard to find, also our doc section ( also written in the posting guide ) holds the info about the article permissions

Uhmm... I had a look through the docs. Before. And I tried what you said. Are you sure those permissions weren't introduced in TP. 1.0.5?

permissions in the ,98 too.. double check..

Permissions for articles wasn't added until TP1.x. You'll need to update if you need it that bad.
