I'm getting double global headers and footers since I installed TP on my test domain.
Header with TESTING GLOBAL HEADERS looks like this: TESTING GLOBAL HEADERSTESTING GLOBAL HEADERS
Footer with TESTING GLOBAL FOOTERS looks like this: TESTING GLOBAL FOOTERSTESTING GLOBAL FOOTERS

I can't figure out which .php I need to edit, but here's the page source:

</table>
</td>
<td valign="top"><!--Headers-->TESTING GLOBAL HEADERS<!--End Headers--><!--Headers-->TESTING GLOBAL HEADERS<!--End Headers--><div class="tborder">
<form method="POST" action="http://testova.com/smf_testing/index.php?action=globalhf;sa=save"><table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4" width="100%">
<tr class="titlebg">
<td colspan="3">Global Headers Footers</td>
</tr>

<tr>
<td class="windowbg2">
Global Headers:<br />
<textarea rows="12" name="headers" cols="77">TESTING GLOBAL HEADERS</textarea>
</td>
</tr>
</tr>
<td class="windowbg2">

Global Footers:<br />
<textarea rows="12" name="footers" cols="77"><B>TESTING GLOBAL FOOTERS</B></textarea>
</td>
</tr>
</tr>
<td class="windowbg2" align="center">
<input type="hidden" name="sc" value="7be8d1493606af1b760547d49c3ce4f3" />
<input type="submit" value="Save Headers Footers" name="cmdSubmit" />

  </td>
  </tr>
  </table>
  </from></div><!--Footers--><B>TESTING GLOBAL FOOTERS</B><!--End Footers--><!--Footers--><B>TESTING GLOBAL FOOTERS</B><!--End Footers-->
</td>
</tr>
</table>

So far, this is the only other thing I need to solve before taking it to my live forum, so I'd sure appreciate some help with it. Thanks.

You might want to remove your mod SMF global headers and see if it solved your problem.

Never seen this before so im not sure it's a TP error, think it's more Global Headers/Footers mod

To remove it you have to seek help on SMF.

DocPixel

I think you're right, G6. Somehow it's being generated twice, independently. Maybe I'll try disabling the function in the TP and see what happens. Anyway, thanks for responding.

DocPixel

Just in case this ever happens to anyone else...

I used the Admin to uninstall the Global Headers mod, and that fixed it, so now there's just one showing. Wonder if TP brings its own?

Anyway, I'm good to go, so thanks again.

G6Cad

No, TP does not have global headers and footers, but it does have top and bottom panels, still itäs own code in tp files and not SMF, so i guess something else must have happend there somehow, glad you got it sorted though  :)
