youtube videos appearing on front page as a article?

[Phil Serna]

can this be done? I have a mod installed for videos on my smf, but what about having it appear as a article?

Yep. We had a bunch of vids displayed as articles. If you have the AEVC mod you should be fine with it.

Its even possible without that mod..just get the "embed" code from youtube page and simply insert it into a HTML/PHP article.Or if you are an admin, even inside a couple of html tags in a regular BBC article - or a normal forum post - like this:

No, we don't have that mod installed here. And yes, thats the upcoming "Watchmen" trailer, a film I really look forward to seeing next year lol.

Thanks for the replies..I'll try it again

I forgot that I used to use the YouTube embed code in an html article before we installed that mod.
