You need to check the Load.php file again.. it looks like from the error that some TP code might still be in there.
I looked twice already  :(

Can you maybe check with me and see what did I leave in please!

Zetan

I looked, I didn't find any reference there either, which means that although the error points to that file.. It's probably a different file. I suggest going through every file in the manual install docs, not just the ones that had errors.

Hi

Can this maybe be the problem in Index.php

Line 290 - Syntax error unexpected T_ELSEIF?

IchBin

You need to run through ALL the instructions for removing code from the SMF files for TP. Follow the instructions in the tinyportal9x-11x file and change/remove the code that it tells you to. If you want skip all of these steps you can just upload a fresh set of SMF files from the large upgrade SMF package. NOTE!: This will remove all mods from your forum so you can install as if its a fresh SMF install. This will not touch the database however.

#15
Link to my site: http://www.teengeneration.co.za
SMF version: SMF 1.1.5
TP version: want to upgrade to 1.0.5
Theme name and version: Theme: SMF Default Theme - Core (1.1.5)
Related Error messages: Fatal error: Call to undefined function tportal_version() in /home/teengene/public_html/Sources/Load.php(1726) : eval()'d code on line 536

Ok did check all the files again and did miss some code but got it out.  I can go to Admin and all the other buttons but at the bottom the following error is still there

I have searched the forum here and found that some of the people used TP themes and that is why they did get this error.  But I have changed back to SMF Default Theme - Core (1.1.5).  :o

Does any one have advise for me on this because I'm clueless  :(

You might been ZTN, but the error is still there cause of codestrings eather missing or are left alone from TP V098

Check the code thats suppose to be added in the SMF files, they are pretty similar to the code in TP V098, but some small changes in atleast one file are enough to cause this error.  ;)

Look, we can go back and forth all day again like we did yesterday.. There are no magic wands.

Smilies won't fix it either.

The topic you were reading, the one that I had posted in regarding the use of a TP theme without TP being installed.. Might have caused you an error, since you have unistalled TP..

Had you done what was suggested right at the begining..

Quote from: ZTNThis must be done, if at all possible, with the Default theme.

Then you would never have seen an error like that.. Unless of course, something else is causing it.

It seems to me you are confusing yourself.. Without somebody physically doing this for you.. which I can't as I'm at work.. then the only other option is what IchBin suggested.. and thats replacing all the SMF files that are edited by TP with fresh files from the SMF download.

As pointed out.. this will remove ALL mods, but your database will be unaffected.
