Convert Downloads

to the TP Downloads???

By writing a script to automate the process.

Unfortunately, as far as I know it has not been done. Nor do I know anyone that is capable and that has the time to do it.

Without any accusations, for what purposes would automating such a large number of downloads legitimately serve?

Ethically, it seems the individual authors posted their files there for the purpose of maintaining a listing at SimpleMachines.org, and by downloading the library automatically (for which I can only envision the purpose of posting them for download on another site) it simply doesn't sound encouraging at this point.

I think I could write such a utility to do just this, though I hesitate to do so for the above reason.

I read this question of his as he are using the SMF Download mod on his own site and he wants to use TPS downloadsystem instead of the SMF mod system..

So to me the question is if some one can make some sort of script that will help him change all the downloads on his OWN site, to work in TP Downloadsystem with out having to add them one by one manually.

Mea culpa.

I totally dropped the ball on that and withdraw my question.    Happens every time I change work shifts to 8am...

Basically would require a conversion of the SQL data from that mod's format to fit the needs of the TP downloads system...  :coolsmiley:
