.. so im diiging around a little setting things up

went to do a front page article using FCKeditor .. go to pull up image and get error as shown in pic

any idea or help would be great

You need to check the permissions on the folder you have set the images to upload in.

755 or 777 depending on your servers configuration.

did that ...

tryed both 755 and 777 both still come up same error

If permissions are OK, then perhaps your host can give you some information on why its not allowing it. A 500 error is a permission denied error by the server.
