Unable to get blocks to display

Ok, I've searched the forums, messed with my settings for a few hours now and I'm breaking down and asking for help.

I just upgraded to smf 1.1.5 and to tp 0.9.8 and installed the theme adagio (my current theme was really old).

My previous settings for my blocks and panels are still intact (5 left side blocks, 0 right side, 2 center, 0 front page---left panel on at 170 pixels, right panel off, center panel on).

While it looks like it should display my panels and blocks as it did before, I can't seem to get them to show at all.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3 times.  I've messed with the settings over and over.

I'm about to pull my hair out.  Am I missing something simple?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  If you need anymore information that could help, please ask.  I'll provide whatever I can.

Did you check if your blocks are activated in the block manager?

They are all showing green lights.  If that's what you mean.

What about any other themes? Does the default theme work?

Nope... tried that shortly after updating and still no blocks.  Then I tried 4 other themes that are listed as compatible.  That's what is really confusing me.

Alright thats normal btw,

If the default theme doest display the blocks either,
I still don't have an idea about your problem.
Somekind of confusing. Will try to figure it out.  ^_^

Very much appreciated.  I'm stumped, so unless someone here can figure it out, I guess I'll have to go without TP.  :-(

If you do not see any blocks in the default theme then your install did not complete. Even though the package manager may have said so, it did not. You'll need to run through the manual install instructions to make sure all the code and files are there.

How do I manually install TinyPortal
