Alrighty... all the files have been CHMOD'd to 755 instead of 777.  I'm still getting the same error when trying to run the install from the Package Manager.

You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

Any suggestions?

I ask if your server is running php safe mode .. in safe mode you will continue to get this error

But i got a little problem. Hven i install it right now everything goes fine, but now hven i have instal and activt it it dousent come up. I remember i have a problem like that last time I installer TP, but i dont remember hvat i do. Very glad for fast anser.

Thry changing to the default SMF theme. If it woirks there, you are using the wrong theme before the change. Your themes need to be compatible with the SMF version, and TP enabled. Ordinary SMF themes dont work.

Make sure you chmodd your folder to 777, not just files.

I am trying to install it on 1.1 RC2 and I have gotten a problem. Can anyone help? This is what it shows:
