Hello, I have a few questions.

1) Is there an option of assigning a pseudo-html URL for an article?
For example mysite.com/hello.html would open a article I've assigned it to?

2) Is there an option (for admins, I mean) to export articles into simple html?

3) Where are the articles stored, in the database or as files?

1. No option in TP for this. You could create an HTML page I suppose and do a meta redirect. Thats a weird work around though. :)

2. There's no option to export. There is a printpage you can save from though for articles.

3. They are stored in the database in the tp_articles table.

Thanks!

I've got a problem: the links to articles don't work at all.
I've made a fresh installation of smf 1.1.5 and TP 1.0.5beta1 here http://lingvoforum.net/testsmf/index.php
I've created an article that you can see on the main page, when I click on the header above the article it opens an empty page. What's wrong?

Could you provide us with some info? Is the article in a category? Is the article featured? What kind of article is it? Any info you can give would certainly help us help you.

You can login and play with it, I'm not yet familiar with TP to answer your questions.

I removed your admin pass. not a good idea as someone will likely login and mess up your forum just for fun.

Remember in TP when you create an article it has to be assigned a category. Youll see in the article options when creating it that there is an option to assign it to a category. I created you a Testing Category so you can see. Try clicking on your article now.

It's ok, this forum is just for testing.
Thanks for help!

But I still see a problem here, now that you've explained me and I've read this line:

QuoteThere are 1 article not assigned to any category. These will only show up in admin until you assign them to a category.

Why then is it that guests can see an unassigned article on the front page? Is this the intended behavior? It says it will show up in admin.

Because this is beta... :)

you know.. i've had trouble with understanding it in the beta version aside from the 0.9.8, but just create a cat..click in your cat and then add a article in that cat..make sure you do have it featured.. check the visual options that it gives you on the bottom of when creating your article.. all this i did last night lol.. i was bound to get it. by the way.. check your front page settings in your admin panel for tiny portal.. make sure you have the correct radio button selected to help you.  :)

Well, then I found another problem: when you assigned the article to a category, the link started working, but only for the admin. Guests still see the article on the front page but the link links to an empty page :)
