Submit Article not showing in userbox

I tried searching first (which usually works), but I wasn't able to find something relevant to my problem.

I've enabled all members other than guests to submit an article, but it still doesn't show in the side userbox.
I also tested with every type of member I've got, and it doesn't show for any of them.

help?

For the admin, it does not show. For everyone else, it does(assuming they have permission).

Also, go to Admin > Permission > membergroup.

Select what kind of articles they can submit.

Then go to Admin > TinyPortal > Articles > Submissions. Select which membergroups can submit articles.

that is the problem. I created a test person for one of each of my membergroups, and none of them had the "submit article" visible.

I already had enabled all member groups (other than guests) to be able to submit articles

Select what kind of articles they can submit.

I don't have any options for types of articles that can be submitted, the only article permission I can see is "Manage articles"

You need to scroll just a tad further down below the "manage articles". There you will see it:

Seems you have an older TP installed then what Xarcell is showing you.
To have the article permission function you seek, you will have to upgrade tp to V1.0.5 from your V098.
You cannot have what you seek in your version.

You error are not related to this, you dont run TP V098, you run V1.0.5 and your error is a bug thats been reported and solved for the next release.
Can you now please !! stop posting out of the blue and start learning the posting guide and also the site rules we have ?
