Reydar

Hello,

I am new to the Tiny Portal Community, and have just recently instlalled the Tiny Portal v1.0.5 beta and SMF 1.1.5.  I absolutely love the Helios_Multi_TP Theme, and would like to get it running smoothly.

I get the following Fatal Error message (on a plain white screen) when I click on the Profile Tab, or attempt to access a Member Profile (To set their User Group or User Permits).

ERROR:  Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tpsummary() (previously declared in /home/mthrrcsn/public_html/SMF/Sources/Profile.php:2945) in /home/mthrrcsn/public_html/SMF/Sources/Profile.php on line 3002

Here is the info about our site:
Link to my site: http://www.m3rcs.net/SMF
SMF version: SMF ver. 1.1.5
TP version: TP ver. 1.0.5
Theme name and version: Helios_Multi_TP
Mods installed: SMF Arcade 2.0.13  (no games installed yet)
Related Error messages:

Hope this is something easy to fix.

Thanks,
Reydar

Looks like you did everything you were supposed to in your post. The only thing you forgot was to use the search. That error has been posted quite a few times. Search for tp_summary and you'll find the answer.

For heavens sake, just attach the file. There is no need to post 5 miles of code, especially when you don't even use the code tags. I deleted your posts, so please attach the file.

Reydar

IchBin,

I figured out a way to copy the Profile.php file from my Hosting Server, and have attached it.

You won't be able to see the Code I deleted (which was in RED Text in my post).

I would really appreciate it if you could help me solve this problem.
I am a complete Noob, when it comes to managing a portal and HTML and PHP Coding.

Its a bug in the package manager that will apply the edits to some files for some reason. You should probably go through the all the files that TP edits and make sure that the edits haven't been applied twice. This file should be fixed now I think. Go to the Docs board and follow the manual install instructions to look through the other files.

Xarcell

Most of the tike when it says "previously declared", it means the code has been applied twice for some unknown reason.(smf issue).

Check your files and look for duplicate code.

Reydar

Well, I copied the Profile.php file (that IchBin said should be fixed) into the source directory.

Now when I click on the Profile Tab, it displays the code from the Profile.php file and gives me this Error:

Unable to load the 'main' template.

Is it possible that duplicate code in another file would cause this?
Can you take a look at the Profile.php file attached to IchBin's post, and confirm that it isn't broken?

I am not much help here, as I am not an HTML or PHP programmer.  Sorry.

Also, can someone provide the links to get to the "Documents" that keep getting referred to.
I don't know where to find them, and I want to make certain I am looking at the correct documents.
I did find the Manual in the Docs link at the top of the page (in the Banner), but that doesn't tell me which files TP modifies.  So, I don't think those are the Documents that are being mentioned.

Any help is appreciated.

If you look at the very first line you'll see the mistake I accidentally added. :)

Reydar

TP Support,

Thank you for all the help!
Our Portal is up and running perfectly.
