(solved)Featured Post on Frontpage

[Draak]

Greetings.

After a much thorough search of your forums, I come asking for help... because I think I might be using the wrong search keywords or something and can't believe someone hasn't asked this question before. So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The version rundown:
SMF version 1.1.5
TP version 0.9.8
SMF Gallery Lite
SMF Links

What I want to do:
I want to be able to mark certain topics/posts as featured so they appear on the frontpage instead of having the most recent topics.

Is there a way of doing this via the article feature? And if so, how would I go about setting something like this up?

Thanks in advance,
Draeconeia

Thanks for the help G6, it's much appreciated.

Here's what I did to make this happen, just in case someone else needs to do this at some point or another.

I went to SMF's site and downloaded the copy topic module, installed it, and created a board called Featured. In TP I marked this board as showing on the front page and just copy whatever topics I want to show into that board. I know, cheap fix and it probably isn't the most efficient... but I'm not a coding guru, so I take what I can get.

Again, thanks for the help.
