The first error seem to be language related
Does the errors show when you use English as your default and from the SMF Core default theme ?

We have the same error, it's right here in TPAdvShout.php

I can see that's the line it's complaining about, although I have no idea what it's trying to do.  It looks like the parameters are backwards... that would make SOME sort of sense.  Right now it's searching for the content of the string $context['TPortal']['querystring'] inside of "show" which will never be true.

search                Required. Specifies the string to search for. If this parameter is a number, it will search for the character matching the ASCII value of the number

2Ntense, if you think you have found a bug, submit it to the Bugtracker by following the link from the main menu, then Bloc or another coder can take a look. Describe how to re-create the same problem.

Its likely to be missed sitting here in another members topic.

Its always best to start your own topic, rather than replying to somebody else's topic which may be similar to a problem you are having, when it may well be different.

I have the identical error messages in my forum error logs (SMF 1.1.5 with TP 1.0.5 b1) as both Baran and Doom666; I'm not going off on a tangent or thread hijacking.    We run SMF 1.1.5 and TP 1.0.5 b1, but with a custom theme.  The error messages are in the forum error log (not the server error log in the forum root).

I'm a hacker, not a programmer.  I can see that something in that line of code doesn't make sense, and that's the ONLY line in the AdvShout files that uses the strstr() function, so I'm pretty sure I have both the file and the line where the error is occurring precisely identified.  When we turn off the shoutbox, the error stops happening, when we turn the shoutbox back on, the error comes back.  Just for the heck of it, I switched the order of the parameters around and that error stopped filling the logs, although I don't know if I fixed a problem or merely masked it.

I didn't list it in the bug log 'cos I can't for the life of me tell what they were trying to accomplish with that IF, and there's probably already enough 'bugs' listed that were cockpit errors and not true bugs.  I leave the programmers alone unless I'm certain of something.  If YOU think it looks like a bug, feel free to lemme know and I'll duplicate the post in the bug log.

I'm an EE, not a TinyPortal wizard.... all I can do is research and suggest.  Other than briefly around a year ago, I've never looked inside the TinyPortal code until a couple of days ago, although I'm somewhat familiar with the SMF code base.

It's a bug, and it's submitted to the bugtracker a long time ago. It will be fixed in the next update of tp

When is the next version of TP coming out?
