How to upgrade corectly please

Hello, i have SMF 1.1.2 and TP 0.9.8

What is the best way to upgrage to SMF 1.1.5 and TP 1.0.5 ? should i first install SMF and then TP ?

You start bu upgrading the very base ( SMF ) and for that you have all the info you need on their site www.simplemachines.org

When you have your SMF done, you can come back for help on the TP part of your upgrade.
