Yea Another Newbie Problem

I am attempting to install TP 75 to my SMF 1.0.6 forum.    I uncompressed the file, made the 1.0.5 to 1.0.6 change.  I recompressed the file.. While installing this message popped up..

An Error Has Occurred!
2: mkdir(/var/www/html/forum/Packages/temp/Tinyportal0_75/AplosRTE/): No such file or directory
File: /var/www/html/forum/Sources/Subs-Package.php
Line: 413 


I looked and that directory is there and it is 777 for (as of right now) all of the above listed directories.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

There should be some files in that folder to, Not just the folder itselfe.
have you checked that it contains the files needed in there?

if the folder are empty ( have happend before) manually upload the files in the AplosRTE folder

You  also want to check the folder your whole forum is in, and your root folder if you can. Those not being set to 777 has stopped some of my stuff from being added in the past.

Also check thst the images that will be changed are at 777 as well. Again, a quirk I found the hard way. I dont remember exactly which ones it was, but there were some. Best to make all files and folders 777 to do the install, then change some back if you wish.

I have everything open from now from var all set to 777... still same error.

I went back and deleted all of the folders in the packages directory.  When I run the mod, it makes the temp file but doesn't add any of the other directories.   I try to manually add them then  re-run the mod.   It deletes all of the directories and stops on temp....

You should wait for Bloc to release an update for 1.0.6 TP.
