QuoteThe requested URL /tpadmin/FCKeditor/editor/fckeditor.html was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

My v0.9.8 TinyPortal has worked perfectly so far, only when I recently tried to edit an article, I got the above error (It is shown in both the box for editing the article, and in the box for editing the articles intro).

Any ideas?

Note: Using SMF 1.1.5, also I can change the WYSIWYG editor via my TP settings to be WhizzyWig instead of the default FCKeditor, but it does not offer the same functionality and without knowing why the other one doesn't work, it could become unusable as well.

Interesting, as I received one error today very much the same. I am using 0.98 & 1.1.4.

However, I found that I had clicked (inadvertently) before FCK editor had loaded. It has not repeated the error since.

Since it seems to be based on Javascript and loading asynchronously, it was as if the server could not process the request for the link to FCKeditor.html AND the link I clicked...

As ianedres say, if you are to fast and dont let the editor load compleatly, that error pops up.

It doesn't matter how fast I click anything, if I click 'edit' on any article post with FCKeditor enabled, the error comes up (Without pressing anything else).

Can you provide a screen shot of your FTP looking at your SMF root folder, and a screenshot of inside your fckeditor folder?

Ianedres

Perhaps uploading the sub-directories under tpadmin for the FCKeditor to your server (from a backup 8)) to overwrite any corrupted files...

I actually loaded the editor directly through the address bar, following the server's path to the 'fckeditor.html' in my installation. It won't let you type or add anything, but it let me know that it was finding the file on the server.

I don't have a backup, and if I try to directly access the fckeditor.html it doesn't work.

I can upload a screenshot of my ftp into this post in about an hour.

Edit:

Ok here are the screenshots

SMF Root

FCK Editor Folder

I can take more if needed.
