From discussion here, the recent files listing was locked at 8. Original poster wanted to increase the number to 30.

In TPModules.php, changing the number in the function 'dl_recentitems' did not work properly; as such, by adding the line "$number = 'x';" below the global statement, the SQL query now reads the value assigned...

This will be adressed first in TP 1.0 beta 3 as then DL manager will be converted to a TP module. For now the option remain hardcoded.
