html fck editor shows the home page

Hello,

I  have  a serious  problem with the  block  editor.  In  the   box  that  normally  is  for  adding  bbs/html  code   I can't   do  that  as  it  has  my  home  page  in there instead  of  the  place to  write  code.

Here is the  photo  of  the screen cap.  Any  ideas  what  is  up?

If  I  make it  a php  block  I  can  see  the  editor.  It  is  only  when  hyml  block  is   chosen that  this  happens.

Its caused by the SEO mod. You'll need to either remove the SEO mod, or seek help from the mod author.

Thanks ichiban  ..  to clarify do you mean the pretty url mod?

Search friendly URLS or Pretty URL mod is what causes this issue yes

Hi, thought I'd ask here as noone is replying over at sm.org...

Can you please copy here the relevant sections of the HTML. I need to see both the original HTML and what Pretty URLs changes it to.

 Hi  there  Dannil  I would be  more than  happy to do so .  I just  don't  have a clue  what  the relecant sections are  that  you are referring to. And  how I would  obtain the   original    is   something I don't  know  how to do.   I am a fast  learner  though. 

All I  can  do  perhaps is   click on source in my  browser on that  page. Do you think this would help.  I do have a  admin account  avail;able if you would like to pop over  too.  I a,m  here.    so  please  be  terribly  layman terms  and  I will dazzle you.  OK???

If you could let me know what files  you are  requestting as  relevant   I will  get  right on that  source  html  information for  ya.

Hmm, don't worry about finding the relevant sections, the whole page will do. Yes, if you right click and get the page source that will work, or you can go to "save page as" (though only save the HTML and not all the images etc).

I'll need the page when Pretty URLs is disabled and when it is enabled, and the actions filter is turned on.

So please do that and then email it to me at eldacar@simplemachines.org

Just to confirm the problem... does it occur in TP 1.0.5, and does it occur in the default theme?

It  does indeed  happen in the default  theme   SMF  version  1.15  And  I have  not  upgraded on TP .  Using  9.8 something.  The  highest  one before the  new  1.5  OK?
