HTML Block goes down a mile and a day

Its bothering me to no end, why is it that when I try to make an HTML sidebar it always has 20 feet of blank space before getting to what I wanted? its like it adds 10 lines of
 tags which I didn't put in the code. It makes no sense. @.@

Help please!

Its because the editor is actually adding a bunch of break tags in it. If you look at the HTML output source you can see this. Hit the code button in the editor and delete all the < br > tags.

Do you mean the source button? I wrote the code in the source. There is no break tags. : /

Look at the source in your actual page. There are a lot of breaks being inserted.

I know but I dont know how to get rid of them.

Access your database via phpMyAdmin. Go to the smf_tp_blocks table. Find the block that's causing the problem and edit it there.

Why don't you just try a scriptbox instead of a bbc/html block?
