weird theme issue

hmm i have tried just about all the umm local servers to do this, and i come up with the same issue.. just wondering if it is the way that themes from the tp v.098 are..

here is what i did:

new 1.1.5 install
new tpv1

theme for 1.1.4

it can upload, but then when i go to apply, it kills the apache.exe.. hmmm any klues guys?? i tried easyphp, wamp5, and xamp.. 

yes i know that sometimes the 1.1.4/tpv.098 themes wont work with the tp v1, but this lol.. it goes up, but just wont turn on..

Look in the apache access or error log to see if it tells you why it decided to puke.

ok will try, funny thing is i have 2 installs, same thing, only on the one i havent played with any theme.. as far as uploading etc.,

Well, it sounds like something else is going on. Hard to say without being able to look at it. Favicon just needs to be places in there.

im going to keep trying things out ICH.. its weird, fresh install etc., and its a local.. hmm has anyone else run into this?? I havent worked up a theme yet, but going to real soon.. i just wanted to see what a 1.1.4 and tpv1 would do for a 1.1.5 and tpv1..
