SMF 1.0.6 Update

Has anyone run the SMF 1.0.6 Update - here

I tried it and I got a failure on SSI.php and Subs.php.

I updated with no problems. If I wasn't a noob at this stuff I could try to help you out.

If you have the googlebots and spiders mod. installed, that will cause this update to fail in SSI.php

I do have than installed.  One down.     I guess I can always make manual updates, but I better wait to see who others did with it.  I didn't click on the Proceed button. 

I read in the thread above that someone's Shoutbox! stopped working.

Edit - they were talking about a different Shout mod.

I just did the SMF 1.0.6. update, it went well, but TinyPortal 0.75 is no longer visible! 

TPAdmin is not accessible either...

Should I just re-install TP? Or is it something small and simple?

EDIT: I solved it by manually adapting index.php and Sources/load.php with the help of the TP_mod-instructions.rtf document

TP 0.85 will support SMF 1.0.6.

Can you please tell me exactly how you did that.  Mine is missing too.

There is an easier method..and its safe since SMF1.0.5 and 1.0.6 is practically the same...at least the parts which TP modifies:

- download the TPv.0.7.5 archive and open it
- find "package.xml" and change all "1.0.5" occurences to "1.0.6".
- save it back into the archive
- run it through package manager as usual

It *should* then install/upgrade on 1.0.6 without any failures.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

I deleted the tp.0.7.5 package that was there, then uploaded the modified zip file.  Then I went to the Package Manager view and the [Uninstall] option appeared.  I won't Proceed with installing since I made some modifications to the file.  I just want the option to uninstall later when the new version of TP is available.
