I have not looked at my forum for a few days as I have been working away but have just checked it and everything has gone a bit strange!
Basically, all of the right hand blocks are scrolling through the top one. The top one is the Advanced RSS block but if you watch it for a bit the shoutbox then scrolls through there and, I am assuming, all the other blocks that should be down the right hand side. On top of that, the remnants of some of the other blocks are still visible towards the bottom of the page (a + and - button is still there).
I have had a look at the blocks through the admin panel and everything seems as it should be so any suggestions would be greatfully received!
The forum is at http://margate.wsnw.net
Thanks in advance
Steve

Nor can I now! Perhaps there is a server error with the host?

Usually -- not always, but usually -- when something suddenly goes wrong with a site that was working perfectly that you haven't done anything to, it's a server issue.

Just found out that the host put a message on their forum 2 days ago announcing that they were cleaning the server today and everything must be backed up. By the time I read it the clean had already started and I have lost everything.
I am not happy!

Most likely the RSS feed caused this problem IMO. Good luck getting your stuff back.

Who is your host?

It is a free host so shouldn't expect too much but would have liked more than 2 days notice

Ken.

If you are going to stay with that host maybe you should be doing your own daily backups. Actually even with a good hosting company that dose backups on their servers its still a good idea to do your own.
