Since the SMF 1.1.4 update I believe, a bunch of my packages for my website can no longer be uninstalled, including Tinyportal. Is there any way of fixing this? The weird thing is that the packages still work.

JPDeni

It looks like your SMF version is 2.04. TinyPortal does not work with that version of SMF.

darkspreader

It's version 1.1.4, not 1.0.4. My bad. I edited the first post just now.

For the TinyPortal uninstall you would need to follow the manual install instructions in reverse.
For the rest of your mods you would need to ask the mod author for those.

Mean while, as long as you don't actually need to uninstall any of them you should be OK.

Upload the TinyPortal package from this site and over-write the package that is in your packages directory. This will give you the uninstall option again.

That did it! It also worked for every other mod. The only one I didn't touch was the SMF update; I don't think I'd be wanting to uninstall it anyways :P

Thanks a ton!

I lost my TP uninstall as well. Tried to re-upload the package but I still don't have it. Any other way other than doing a manual uninstall?

G6Cad

Clear your browser cache after you have uploaded the full TP package into the packages folder.
It might be that the browser dont show the new link cause of caching.

If that doesent work you can remove the package from the packages folder and then upload and install TP as you did before through the package manager.

dklassen

Thanks, that got it. I tried it on my test site and it looks like the new beta version sure doesn't like my custom theme.

Just remember that all mods are made for the default core theme only, all the rest has to be suited to work with other themes.
