Tiny Portal Admin does not work

Hello!

I installed Tiny-Portal 1.05 but all the admin-sections does not work for me.

For example if i choose "Settings and Frontpage" i get a blank page. This problem i get with all tiny-portal-Admin links, except the Downloads-Admin.

Did you have 9.8 installed?

Did you fully uninstall it? Remove all traces of 98 file edits from SMF 1.1.4?

Were there any warning errors when you went to install v1.05 in your package manager?

How fun it's working for you

The topicstarter have issues though..
Upload all the TP package  files manually to your forum and make sure they overwrite the old ones.

i had to do a few things to solve this problem.

1. i did a full upgrade of smf to clean any bastardization of the default theme files that i or mods had made.

2. completely delete all the tp .98 files

3. upload tp 1.05 beta

4. copied the files to the default theme just to make sure.

5. then it still didnt work on my sites theme so i copied the tp 1.05 files to this theme directory as well

Sorry, can´t post a link, because its a local-test-installation.

Its a little bit tricky.

I made a fresh smf-installation and installed tp - worked fine
I removed tp - worked fine
I imported the database of my website - forum worked fine
I installed tp - same problem - alle admin links show me a blank page.

Maybe its a error in my lampp,  now i will test it online with a copy of my forum.

Language encoding ?  regular or utf8 ?

i took the normal english.
my website is german. (not utf8)

If you dont have the language package made for TP V1.0.5 in German it will not work as the language strings have been changed so much.

But in English you should be able to see them.

At this time the only thing i can suggest is that you install everything again and this time manually according to the install instructions in the doc section.

I now finished mit test in an online-test-installation and it worked with the english language. All TP-Admin Sections now work fine for me. I really think there is a misconfiguration in my lampp.

I think i will install tp-105 for my lifetype in the next days. seems to be a great update!
