Smoky

this is what im getting in the error log now, how to fix it??  :P

8: Undefined index: viewer_text
File: c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\alpha\Themes\default\BoardIndex.template.php (eval?)
Line: 134

iim not "bumping" or anything. will fix this issue soon, and think Smoky is taking a tp break.. if you need me you can find me on my site.. link in profile..  ;)

bloc

That "viewer_text" isn't part of regular SMF is it? A mod maybe?

Smoky

this is a clean install on easyphp, using smf1.1.4 and the beta, Bloc.. i did add a theme i was currently working on for the v.9, but as it doesnt have a board.index file i couldnt figure it out.. zero errors on install for any of it..

i did notice that the theme worked good, but was missing code in the admin area, the css, no images were broken.. i dont know.. some ways i think its my net connection might have caused either missing parts to files or missing files altogether.. when its cloudy here my net comes and goes like a yoyo if not faster.. normal dl i have seen goes up to 3.5mbs, but i couldnt get it up to 1500kbs bout 7 hours ago, so..

will try it again sometime today, taking my son to the park first  ;) yay for sunshine lol..

stormlrd

if you look through the install for manual on files you note few changes to the source boardindex not sure if this is affecting themes or not but ive noticed that im got several themes not showing the board index now. Just havnt dug into it yet. I'll let you know if i come up with anything.

bloc

It can't be the TP boardindex modifications - its only adding "action=forum "to the upshrink links - that should not interfere with anything.

Smoky, since your theme's Boardindex.template looks like the above, it must be something you have installed or modified. The default Boardindex.template looks like this:

<td class="windowbg2">
<b><a href="', $board['href'], '" name="b', $board['id'], '">', $board['name'], '</a></b><br />
', $board['description'];

Smoky

will put it up on my site and away from the easyphp Bloc and see what that does.. nets a little better so will see. my theme i did doesnt have a board index file.. i dont know what caused it..

Storm have you figured yours out yet??

the theme im working on only has a style.css and index.template.php with index.php, but I am getting these errors on the default, only for the tpadvshout.. cant figure it out... will go thru all my mods to see, but i have worked in the lightbox and the bookmarks, dont think anything else touches the index.template.php but will double check.. other than that, im stumpt.  :buck2:

i havent put it on a live site yet.. need to do so soon maybe??

edit: here is what i found out:

these are all errors with the advanced shoutbox..

the first error:

Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message
8: Undefined index: c_copy
File: c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\alpha\Themes\default\languages\TPAdvShout.english.php (eval?)
Line: 221

has to do with the ban user from shoutbox, unused yet.

the second code:

8: Undefined index: c_copy
File: c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\alpha\Themes\default\languages\Post.english.php (eval?)
Line: 221

has to do with with line 221 not being there on the post.english.php, no where to be found.

the third:

http://127.0.0.1/alpha/index.php?action=forum
Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message
8: Undefined index: viewer_text
File: c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\alpha\Themes\default\languages\Post.english.php (eval?)
Line: 134

is for spellcheck.. hmm i can check that ;)

and the last one:

Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message
8: Undefined index: value9
File: c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\alpha\tp-files\tp-modules\TPAdvShout\Sources\TPAdvShout.php
Line: 3875

is, again, not found..  :-X (adv.shoutbox)

Smoky

Bloc or Storm, did you guys ever figure this out?

I know i have tried, but im not having any luck with it..  :(

IchBin

The file associated with the error isn't always true. The file name is just indicating at which point the code execution decided to take a puke. Without looking at your files I'm not sure we could ever figure this out. Can you post your files from your custom theme and from your default theme? Just zip em up if you could and we'll see if we can find anything I suppose.
