Blocks Disappear in 1.0.5

I hope I'm not repeating someone else's topic here, but I just installed v1.0.5 beta, and the only difference I see is that all my blocks have disappeared!

On my Home page (set to display articles and forum-posts), it leaves blank space on each side where the blocks should be, but on all other pages, there's not even that.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

well when i click the arrow's for the blocks at the bottom of the page my blocks dis-appear with no obvious way of getting them back

When I fell for the joke I saw the same thing- I paniced and went back to 0.9. They were still gone but then noticed at the bottom of each block had ALL Pages in there and took that out and the blocks reappeared. Might be worth trying.

Did you guys UN-install old TP 1st?

And always use smf Default installing TP stuff

Thanks a bunch delvec - that worked for me too.  What do you mean 'when I feel for the joke?'

Crip - thanks for the tips on installing, I'm a total noob.  I'll do both next time.  Does this mean my upgrade didn't install correctly and I need to go back and do it right?

No it's the real thang in the News link..

it should install perfect after you uninstall 908 shile using smf Default theme install the new 105 TP..read all directions given and follow those correctly
